Sandra Vincent is a Melbourne-based artist whose passion for painting has been woven into the fabric of her life since childhood. Her artistic journey began at the tender age of 11 when she enrolled in painting classes that ignited her creativity. Throughout school, Art and Design always inspired Sandra, particularly in Art and Photography. After High School, she earned a Certificate of Art and Design at TAFE and then moved on to Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design) at Monash University. Over the years, nature and the sea have as constant sources of inspiration, regularly reflected in her artworks. In addition to her paintings, Sandra creates intricate drawings designed for seamless repeat patterns. These unique patterns are available as digital downloads and are also on a variety of homewares and clothing, allowing her art to reach a wider audience. Despite her day job as a Graphic Designer, it is when she holds a paintbrush that Sandra truly feels at peace, finding joy in the creative process often accompanied by her favourite music, Maggie Rogers and Eliott being favourites. Through her art, Sandra invites viewers into her world, portraying the she sees around her. Whether she’s capturing the gentle or vibrant waves of the ocean, the intricate details of a blooming flower, the emotions expressed in a human face, her work resonates with those who appreciate the connection between nature and creativity.
