A bit about . . . MY LATEST ABSTRACT PAINTING
Here is my latest artwork, just off the easel and finished!
Artwork name: Somehow we'll get through
Artwork size: 101cm x 101cm
Created: June 2021
Medium used: Acrylic paint on canvas ready to hang
The sea provides so many analogies to the ebbs and flows of life. It’s complex, stressful, dangerous, calming, beautiful and many times out of our control. I wanted to use different marks, depth and shapes to convey the unnerving time in the world at the moment, when the control and freedom we may have felt we had, has been taken away. How do we cope with that? What emotions do we go through. Does it bring us strength or test it?
