Sandra has been painting since the age of 11, when she started painting classes after school. It was a love affair that has lasted for over 30 years. After concentrating on art and photography in high school, she then went on to study Art & Design for 5 years, earning an Advanced Certificate of Art and Design, and a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design). Working for many years as a Graphic Designer, she has also continually sold her paintings in her spare time. Since the beginning of 2019, she decided to take her passion more seriously and practice everyday, became a member of MAVA (Melbourne and Victorian Artists), and regularly exhibits in exhibitions. Sandra enjoys experimenting with materials, styles and techniques, but always comes back to Acrylic on canvas. She creates realism, abstract and lately in-between with her underwater jellyfish themes. She is looking forward to continually growing and evolving as a painter.
Starting in July 2020, Sandra began her business creating Art Kits. She'd had so much fun painting her own tote bags, that she decided to create kits for others to have fun too. Encouraging others to be creative, by guiding them through the process, gaining them the confidence to be free and express themselves.
If you have an idea for a kit, please send me a request via email.
