Note from Artist: "The beach has always been a huge love of mine, one that calms and inspires me to be creative and free. I love watching the water, with its colours, patterns, shapes and sounds. The movement and energy of the water is what I try to convey in my beach paintings. Using acrylic paints and a variety of shades of blue, I focused on the frothy wave at its peak. So much of life is expressed in the ocean, danger, freedom, survival, release, floating, body movement, refreshment, and this was what inspired this artwork."
